Physician Assistant:

Princeton Eye and Ear is seeking a highly motivated Physician Assistant, preferably with experience or advanced training in Otolaryngology. Working with the Otolaryngology Physicians and other APPs, the Physician Assistant will be involved in patient care primarily in the outpatient clinic, with frequent inpatient care, and several opportunities for first assist in the OR.

Responsibilities will include providing care and education to patients with various otolaryngologic conditions in coordination with the attending physicians, and performing various procedures in the office and hospital settings. Procedures include, but are not limited to: biopsies, I&Ds, nasal endoscopies, videostroboscopies, nasal packing and nasal cautery, and laryngoscopies.

This is a full time day shift position, Monday-Friday. There are call responsibilities during the week and weekends equating to 10 days/month, which is mostly managed over the phone. Princeton Eye and Ear offers a benefits package to include health, dental, vision and malpractice insurance, certification renewal costs, DEA licensing, and CME allowance.

With 6 Physicians, 1 Physician Assistant and 1 Nurse Practitioner, Princeton Eye and Ear is one of the busiest ENT practices in Central NJ. Our progressive, physician-led organization utilizes a patient-focused approach to care, treatment and also supports collaboration across programs and specialties. Our practice has four locations, including our main office in Lawrenceville and three fully-functional satellite offices in Newtown, PA, Freehold, NJ, and Plainsboro, NJ. 

Medical Assistant:

A very busy ENT practice, with four locations, looking for a Medical Assistant in Central New Jersey. This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, possible 50% travel.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Assistant Certificate
  • Must have at least 4 years experience working in a doctors office (preferably ENT office)
  • Drivers License
  • COVID Vaccinated

General Responsibilities:

  • Starting Charts / EMR System
  • Taking History
  • Dictate to the MD’s
  • Cerumen removal
  • Strobe’s
  • Pt teaching
  • Pre-op
  • OAE TYMPS
  • Dix/Epleys
  • Emptying and cleaning canisters
  • Cleaning instruments
  • Putting instruments away
  • Re-stocking rooms
  • Post-op
  • Removing packing (for epistaxis)
  • Translate for Spanish patients

Required Skills:

  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a high volume of patients
  • Ability to work in a team environment and interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members.

  • Must have at least 3 years experience in a doctor’s office
  • Experience in EMR system
  • Drivers License / able travel to each office
  • Must be able to multitask; as well as work under pressure
